Session 1     Session 2     Session 3     Session 4
Session 2 (10:15am to 11:45am)
Topic Room 1, PhotoView360

PhotoView 360 is a powerful rendering tool with a simple user interface that lets you create photorealistic images of your SolidWorks models good enough for a marketing brochure. This session will teach you how to easily create fast, high quality “pictures” of your models, and it’s fun!

Topic Room 2, Weldments "Outside The Box"

The weldment module in SolidWorks can be used for a lot more than welded tubing assemblies. Come learn how to create custom profiles and apply the weldment methodology to create multi-body parts. With a little imagination you could be “welding” a deck on the back of your house.

Topic Room 3, Routing

Learn how SolidWorks Routing can speed the design and improve the quality of systems utilizing Tubing, Piping, and Wire Harnessing.  Explore how to create routes using a Routings component library.  Learn how to customize and add to the library.  Ribbon Cable, an enhancement added in Service Pack 2 will also be explored.

Topic Room 4, SolidWorks Productivity

This is the session where you learn all the cool stuff to make SolidWorks do what YOU want it to do, the way YOU want it to. This session will show you how to use and customize keyboard shortcuts, menus, toolbars, and how to save them so you can take them with you anywhere. You will also see tools that let you work at lightning speed like a 3D mouse that makes you feel like you are holding your model and speech recognition software that lets you speak commands to SolidWorks. When you put all of this to work for you, you will be thinking more about designing and less about how to find that $%&# icon.

Topic Room 5, PDM Workgroup Overview
Have you been thinking of adding vault control to your organization’s critical files? Discover how Workgroup PDM can simplify keeping track of who is working on what, revision control, file relationships, document history, collaboration, report generation, to name only a few of the benefits. Come learn how Product Data Management can improve the security of you precious CAD files.

Topic Room 6, Plastic Parts

Ever wonder what those special plastics design tools in SolidWorks do? Here’s your chance to learn about split draft, parting lines, snap hooks, mounting bosses, ribs, vents, lips and grooves and more.

Development Room, Part Modeling
